At Empowerment Psychology, our multidisciplinary team of Clinical Psychologists, Counselling Psychologists, and Educational Psychologists specialises in ADHD, autism, and AuDHD assessments and therapy in Auckland and across New Zealand. We provide evidence-based, neuroaffirming care for children, adolescents, and adults, with expertise in comprehensive psychological assessments, diagnosis, and ongoing therapy. Our team is committed to delivering clear, structured assessment processes and practical recommendations tailored to each client’s needs. Led by Dr Missy Wolfman, a Clinical Psychologist specialising in ADHD and autism, our clinic has grown into a trusted provider of neurodevelopmental assessments and psychological support both in-person in Auckland and nationwide via telehealth.

We see children from the age of 5 years old, tweens, teens and adults. 

We see children and adults without and with neurodivergence e.g. ADHD-er and Autistic

We are psychologists, not psychiatrists so we are not able to prescribe medications. We are able to assess and diagnose mental health conditions, and provide evidence based psychological treatments. If you need medication e.g. for ADHD we will refer you to our partner psychiatrist(s) or pediatricians (for your children and teenagers)

Yes, you are always welcome to bring a support person to your appointment. However, please let your psychologist know so they can prepare in advance.
